RCMP - Armed Robberies In Morrin & Halkirk Determined To Be Linked, Charges Laid
Two suspects were arrested in Three Hills on Wednesday, February 19th following a pair of armed robberies earlier this month in Morrin and Halkirk. RCMP have laid charges and say the armed robberies were determined to be linked. A 35 year old male and a 39 year old male have been charged.

A male and a female from Innisfail have been charged following the execution of a search warrant in the town of Innisfail on Saturday, February 15th. The 41 year old male is wanted on a warrant, while the 41 year old female has been arrested.

Sundre RCMP say a 38 year old male and a 36 year old female from Red Deer have been arrested and charged following a report from a resident in the Eagle Hill area of a suspicious man and woman driving a Jeep Wrangler on February 12th.
Olds Curling Club Receives Provincial Grant To Turn Humpty's Champions Cup Event Into World-Class Show
A $125,000 dollar provincial grant has been awarded to the Olds Curling Club. Jeff Miller - President of the Olds Curling Club - says it is for the upcoming Humpty's Champions Cup event which takes place in Olds from April 29th through May 3rd. He says funds will go towards items including: free admission to the social house, bigger and better entertainment, plus volunteer recognition.
